Also because it's a clarifying cleanser it minimizes the amount of times that one would have to shampoo their hair in a month. So it's perfect to also use before and after a protective styling, as most braided, twist, faux loc ect. styles are kept for at least a month before redoing the style and also for it's deep cleansing and detangling properties after a protective style is taken down.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Separate hair into 4 sections for longer hair. Shampoo can be applied directly to the hair but it can also be mixed with liquid to thin out for easier distribution to the hair and to prevent using more product than necessary.
To Mix: Separate a quarter sized amount of the clay mask into a small bowl. Add a small amount of either water, aloe vera juice or coconut milk to the clay and stir until properly mixed into a shampoo like consistency. Add solution to an applicator bottle.
2. Saturate hair with water.
3. Apply and massage mixture on the scalp.
4. Lightly re-wet the hair then work mixture down to the hair shaft all the way to the ends. For a more intense treatment apply apply a conditioning cap to the hair and sit under a dryer for 20 minutes.
5. Leave on for 5-10 minutes then rinse out with cool/cold water.
6. Follow up with small amount of Poppin' Puddin' Moisturizing Curl Enhancer if wearing hair curly and a seal with Honey Bee Frizz Free Conditioning Hair Gel.
7. Style as Normal.

I left a review on this product about a week or so ago after using it but I would like to edit it now. I previously stated how the co wash smelled and felt really great and I still stand by that. However, it being a week after using it i would like to add that I've noticed a huge difference in my hair. Half the time I'm really lazy , don't tie up my hair, don't consistently moisturize ect. My hair STILL feels as soft and moisturized as it did right after using the co wash! It's amazing. I also wanted to share how I used it. I rinsed my entire head in warm water then worked the co wash from root to end. Then left it in and covered my hair with a plastic cap for about 45 mins (like a deep conditioner method) then rinsed it out in the shower. Didnt put any other products beside from a little coconut oil after I towel dried. -Imani
